E-Mail Send and Receive
Question 1 How do I download my e-mail messages from my domain? Answer: The e-mail server that Web-Next uses is a POP3 (POP) system. Point your mail client (Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape, etc.) to:
mail.yourdomain.com as both your incoming and outgoing (SMTP) server. You will then need to provide your username and password to download messages.
Question 2 How do I send mail from my domain? Answer: In order to send mail from your domain, Web-Next will need to open our mail relay to allow you to send. We will need to know your IP DHCP range
from your ISP. The technical support from your ISP should easily be able to answer this question. If you are having trouble finding out this information, contact us and we will assist you (202-543-2060).
Web Site Upload
Question 1 How do I upload my web site to the server? Answer: To upload your site you have two options. Either use the IP number that was sent to you in your "Welcome Message", or if your DNS functionality is complete, point your software to "ftp.yourdomain.com". You should place files
in the "www" directory.
You will need your username and password.
